Mongolian Students Unlock Their AI Superpowers with AE

The November 12 ASSU in Mongolia × BossYourFuture AI Workshop was led by the incredible Eli Thai, whose passion for AI, product innovation, and human-centred design electrified the classroom. With years of experience across machine learning, wellbeing tech, corporate innovation, and venture building, Eli transformed complex concepts into fun, practical insights. Students described him as “inspiring,” “mind-blowing,” and “the coolest teacher ever.”

AI is becoming the new literacy — and empowering young people to understand and command it is no longer optional. This workshop gave Grade 11 students the confidence, creativity, and leadership skills to use AI as a superpower.

What We Covered

Explain AI in Their Own Words Students learned how AI works, then turned their understanding into simple, relatable explanations using analogies and visuals.

Ask Amazing Questions Great questions unlock great learning. Students practiced high-quality questioning to improve their critical thinking, creativity, and AI results.

Command AI to Create Anything With hands-on guidance, students used AI to create:

• stories

• business ideas

• images

• strategies

• and even functional code They were amazed at how much they could produce in minutes.

About the Teacher — Eli Thai

Eli is the Venture & Product Lead at Headstart Lab and has built tech solutions for corporates and VC-backed startups. He has facilitated hackathons for 500+ young innovators and has helped build platforms used across Australia.

His teaching style made students feel confident, capable, and excited to explore the world of AI.
