Day 1
We landed, freshened up, and headed straight to the famous The Rocks Markets. After exploring the vibrant market, we proceeded to the mall and then to the supermarket to buy breakfast for the week. Later, we enjoyed a beautiful sunset dinner under the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge.
Day 2
Day one of class began with an energy boost from a traditional Australian breakfast, featuring Vegemite, TimTams, and lamingtons.
We delved into lessons on Emotional Intelligence and leadership, prompting students to immediately showcase their newfound confidence and leadership skills on stage.
A second birthday surprise followed, succeeded by a masterclass on transforming problems into impactful successes with a global guru. Then came a big surprise as the Global Director of the United Nations shared his life journey and leadership tips.
To cap off the day, we visited Google's head office to explore innovation and disruption.
Day 3
A significant part of finding success is doing what you love. In our sessions, we guided the students in discovering their life purpose and how it can translate into global success.
Understanding the intricacies of your business and revenue models is crucial for long-term success and impact. This was a key focus during our learning sessions today.
As the day unfolded, we took a break for a healthy lunch, followed by some delightful Halloween treats to add a touch of festivity.
Our day took a charming turn when a special visitor with four paws came over, bringing joy and playfulness to the atmosphere.
To wrap up the day on a creative note, a color and confidence expert joined us for a practical workshop, adding a vibrant touch to our journey of self-discovery and success.
Day 4
We kicked off our day bright and early with one of Australia’s leading social entrepreneurs leading a masterclass on the power and tricks of effective Design Thinking.
Next, the former Miss Australia, now a Branding and Social Impact Consultant, conducted an engaging masterclass on crafting a perfect brand—from naming and logo design to creating a compelling slogan and launching your venture into the world.
Following this insightful session, a Weve Impact Leader took the stage to guide us through the intricacies of writing a business plan.
Day 5
You've got to think, sound, and look like a leader, and that includes how you present yourself on LinkedIn and how you navigate networking. So, we started the day with a super powerful LinkedIn session followed by insights on networking in multicultural environments.
Next, we delved into the art of pitching and the impact of both verbal and non-verbal communication strategies.
For a unique experience, we ventured to the zoo to meet typical Australian animals, adding a touch of fun and diversity to our day.
To cap off the evening, we headed to the Opera House at sunset for photos and dinner, creating lasting memories against the iconic backdrop of Sydney's skyline.
Day 6
We rose early, fueled by anticipation, to fine-tune our business pitches. The prospect of presenting before esteemed judges—the Director of Google, Award-Winning Entrepreneurs, and the Dean of the No. 1 Business University—added an exciting yet slightly nerve-wracking element.
Throughout the day, we engaged in mentoring sessions, taking the opportunity to refine our ideas. As the moment approached, we adorned ourselves in elegant attire, ready to make a lasting impression.
The climax arrived with our grand pitch in front of 80 guests, including investors and diplomats. The room buzzed with energy and anticipation as we shared our visions and aspirations.
The pinnacle of the event was the certificate ceremony, a moment of recognition and celebration, marking the culmination of our hard work and dedication.
Day 7
We threw a surprise Breakfast birthday party for one of the girl bosses, and off we went on the Hop-on-Hop-Off Tourist bus.
Our first stop was Mass, where we got to meet the Bishop. Then we went to the National Library, where we had a private tour of the Shakespeare room. After a quick drive past the Opera House, our next stop was the Australian National Museum.
We finished off the day with a sunset at Bondi Beach, where we enjoyed ice cream and fries.
